Legal
Privacy policy
We collect personal information only when you send us an enquiry, and we use it only to reply to you.
Who we are
Atlasstone Holding Group operates this website. For anything in this policy, write to connect@atlasstone.com.
This policy covers atlasstone.com. Other organisations in the Group, including Acorntree, publish their own policies.
What we collect
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your organisation if you give one, the enquiry type you select, and the message you write.
We do not collect anything else. There is no analytics, no advertising tag and no third-party tracking on this site, and we set no cookies. Our cookie policy sets that out in full.
Like any website, our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use what you send to read your enquiry, to reply to it, and to keep a record of the correspondence. That is all.
Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests: responding to someone who has chosen to contact a business is what they expect us to do with the details they provided. Where an enquiry leads to a commercial discussion, we may also rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not use your details for marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list.
Who else sees it
Two processors handle your enquiry on our behalf, and neither uses it for their own purposes:
Resend delivers the enquiry to us by email. Vercel hosts this website and processes the form submission in transit.
Beyond that, we do not sell, rent or share your information. We would disclose it only where the law requires it.
Some processing may take place outside the UK. Where it does, it is covered by the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful to the relationship, and review it periodically. Where an enquiry leads nowhere, we delete it within 24 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and object to our using it. You can also ask for it in a portable format.
Write to connect@atlasstone.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
